"Our youth group wanted a website for our independent, youth led and directed zine, ‘NDN Uncensored’.  Rather than contract out we brought in Invert Media, who worked with the youth from the site’s inception to the launch.  The result: a great companion website and first rate training that was specifically tailored for the youth who participated in the project.  Thank you Invert Media.”

FirstNationsLanguages.ca
FirstNationsLanguages.ca is a project that was conceived by the AFN’s Aboriginal Languages Initiative, which is informed by the Chiefs Committee on Languages.  Our committee represents many voices and many languages.  Invert Media did an excellent job listening to our committee’s voices and was able to deliver a project that spoke to visions of our Chiefs.

Kanawayhitowin

“We needed a site that was easy to use.  So Invert Media created a Content Management System where we can continually update our site.  It is a great feature that not only keeps Kanawayhitowin current but puts us in control. Thanks Invert Media!”

Toronto Aboriginal Care Team

Invert Media did an excellent job on helping us to launch and promote the Toronto Aboriginal Care Team.  They were responsible for all aspects of our communication strategy and did a top notch job that was very community based and respectful.  We are extremely pleased with our new website, the new logo and our overall presence in the Toronto community.  They succeeded in capturing the cultural integrity of the program.

DopeNDN

Invert Media brought a culturally sensitive approach to our interface design.  They gave great care and thought to how and where the content would sit inside the medicine wheel and were absolutely on target about helping us to conceive of a marketing strategy that would speak to our projected web audience.  In fact they went right out into the community to workshop the site and the url name DopeNDN which we love!

Bob Sandler

Invert Media came aboard the project a few weeks before filming began and carefully read and made notes on the draft.  Her notes on structure were thorough and helpful. We were aiming for a non-stereotypical presentation and Jennifer’s unique insight, particularly her visual suggestions, were invaluable in our achieving the desired result.

Aboriginal cultural life

We were introduced to Invert Media by CTV’s creative people when we needed an experienced researcher for a six part, one hour dramatic television series.  The work clearly demonstrated not only an understanding of film script requirements and story but (most importantly) the nuances of Aboriginal cultural life.

Aboriginal Literacy Worker

Invert Media took a three hour oral teaching and made it into a 1hour video presentation that honored the values  and principles of  the Seven Fires.  They were very respectful and demonstrated a deep sensitivity.  I am honored by the work they’ve done.
